War seems to be the only means for Bush-McCain to continue politics in the last few weeks before the
US election. The only way to deflect people’s attention from the domestic economic hardships and fears; and also to capitalise on McCain’s militarism!.

Looks like the next general election will be about foreign policy

The Conservatives are hugging us close on domestic policy - they will keep the 20% basic income tax, the independent BoE, the minimum wage, the spending on the NHS, they'll keep all our crime initiatives too, as they've been proven to reduce crime. It's on foreign policy that differences between them and us loom large

Missiles aimed at Europe

Looks like the missile shield deal has to been finalised, signed and sealed.

Both the US and Poland must have felt the time was right - indeed, it is clear an old enemy is up to new tricks.

The Question is - what is EUROPE and the US going to do when Russia inevitably points its missiles at POLAND and NATO?  


Russia invades Georgia

After Georgia attempted to restore order to its legal sovereign territory - South Ossetia - Russian tanks and fighters have crossed into Georgian land and airspace.

Russia wants all the oil in the Caspian for itself - to control and intimidate the West. A full scale attack on Georgia must be met by NATO.
