Recently I posted on the subject of fire service cuts in Cornwall. To which I attended the protest march from the fire station at Falmouth to the fire station at Camborne via Penryn and Redruth, a distance of approximately 18 miles, along with more than a thousand protesters. The fire service cuts have been introduced by the Liberal Democrat controlled county council, they are erroneously blaming the government for its lack of funding. For details see here. The party of hypocrisy and greed This was the headline in the "Camborne and Redruth Packet" (Local Paper) shortly after the Liberal-Democrats took control of the county council two years ago. This must be the first time that I have ever agreed with this dreadful right-wing rag.

Guedo thinks that the Liberal-Democrat will go for a alliance with the Conservatives this year, as do several other commentators... any thoughts?
