Before I went to bed last night I blogged about the decisions in Paris feeling that it would be churlish not to recognise what may very well be, to coin a phrase, the beginning of the end of the immediate crisis. I also wanted to pay tribute to Gordon Brown for his insight in the way forward, safe in the knowledge that the Tories would hate it!

Imagine my surprise this morning then to discover that Labour Matters has suddenly become very busy. "Oh heavens, what have I said wrong now" was my first thought, but not a bit of it, the traffic was coming from Google. Here's why:

Why are we wasting our positive news on the media?

The press is unsympathetic or downright hostile to Labour, yet Labour is full of newsmakers pumping out press releases every day. And with increasing numbers using the Internet to search for both local and national news, the positive Labour stories are still hard to find online.

Now a new site - Labour Matters - aims to help change that for the better...
