Christmas comes early for BNP as St. Nicholas loses his Xmas card list?
Oh dear! Just when every thing was going well for St. Nicholas and the little elves down at the BNP grotto. After all winning a seat on a community/parish council is great but having one of your vicars plus the dear old village bobby outed is just not BRITISH is it ? The woman interviewd by the BBC from NASUWT could have a point when she suspects this to be deliberate! Is it wrong to blog these list? Possibly but when St. Nicholas' party are to plead the human rights legislation when crying foul AND at the same time requiring it to be repealed- I think we know the answer. Psst Dont tell any one but --- I have an old expose the Oswald Mosley Union Movement List in the attic (it belonged to my Grandad) willing to swap for any up to date NF, Commie or Respect info.
Kick Fascists out of Trade Unions
One worrying thing that I picked up yesterday was that soon the House of Commons will be debating a clause that would make it very difficult to expel fascists from trade unions. Section 18 of the Employment Bill was originally brought in by the government following the success of ASLEF in the European Court over the expulsion of a BNP member. The House of Lords have amended the section to such an extent that many fear that fascists would not be able to be expelled. Fascism is clearly incompatible with trade unionism.
On Saturday I was at a TUC regional Council where Unite pleaded with all unions who have parliamentary influence to lobby MPs to make sure that this amendment is knocked back. The measure may be debated as early as this week apparently.

BNP win seat on London Assembly
In the general sadness and shock at Ken losing the Mayorality (and Boris winning) comrades may have missed a couple of things. First of all there were swings TO Labour in several places and we won an extra GLA constituency (Brent and Harrow, Navin Shah).
Socialism and fascism: some people really really don't get the difference
For anyone who hasn't seen the latest episode of 'A Daily Show with John Stewart' (I deeply advise you to do so now if you haven't) you will have missed one of those interviews you really just had to see. Jonah Goldberg, author of 'Liberal Fascism: the secret history of the American left from Mussolini to the politics of Meaning', seems to be convinced that American Clintonesque liberalism is fascist. The interview went on for 18 minutes (I think that might be a record) so the editors had to cut it down to a 6 minute production which Jon Stewart admitted was 'as choppy as hell', boy I'd of liked to have seen the rest.
Tory MPs join BNP member in anti-EU group
A member of the BNP is listed as one of the public supporters of the Freedom Association's "Better off out campaign", along with several hard-core Tory anti-Europeans.
