GB's reshuffle continues
Paul Murphy has been appointed Secretary of State for Wales. Again.
It is not yet clear whether this is a stand-alone appointment given that for the last few years Wales has been a part-time role given to toher cabinet Ministers.
Murphy was Northern Ireland and Wales Secretary when he was taken ill and stood down from Government a couple of years ago.
At least he's really Welsh . . .

Does Welsh Labour have a Plan B?
Labour's deal with Plaid Cymru in the Welsh Assembly is still unpopular with many members and MPs. But if they want to overturn it and reverse the pledge to turn the Assembly into a Parliament along Scottish lines, opponents need to come up with an alternative - or risk more infighting.
A government of all the regions?

Independents for Wales
After teaming up with Labour in the Welsh Assembly, a leading Plaid Cymru MP is calling for local alliances to defeat Labour candidates in forthcoming local and Westminster elections. But if Plaid are serious about an anti-Labour coalition, they should make way for independents who have a much better chance of winning.
