special treat time (for me). i'm at the main emily's list reception - this is the place to be this afternoon. A celebration of the women in the democratic party.  making appearances are Michelle Obama, nancy Pelosi and yes ... Hillary Clinton.  Lots of buttons, t-shirts and bags with her name on.  Large numbers of people in the room.  A real sense of occasion and expectation.  I'll keep updating this thread as the speeches get underway.

Michelle Obama will be descending on London for a fundraiser for her husband’s campaign at the swanky Landmark Hotel, on Monday.  Her husband (above) will not be there as his team are reluctant to let him leave the U.S at this crucial time, so Michelle will be standing in.
