All their talk about the parliamentary section is who lives where. Within a year of being elected most women MPs with young families end up in London. That’s where theirs will be too. Makes for an easier career.
Green Party in turmoil
I have a lot of respect for the Green Party and their existence certainly helps to force the main parties to look at what is undoubtedly the most important issue of our time, climate change. Yet sadly, it looks as though the Greens are experiencing internal divisions big time.

The GC of Nottingham South CLP met last night to meet with a representative of Regional Office to start the process for selecting a successor to Alan Simpson. Unfortunately, it didn't go quite as delegates might have imagined beforehand.

It is not quite clear whether the small band of supporters represent a new parliamentary 'group' or whether it somehow ties in with the leadership contest, but I'm sure there are many of us who would welcome the .'Big Change' statement
