I'm seeing minus comments (-2 new comments) appearing on some threads?

Is this a bug or are we having some censoring?

Never noticed it before...

I think there's always been a policy of taking of obvious troll comments.  I'm guessing there must have been a bit of an increase of late.

It's probably a good sign in a way.  There have been a few high profile postings on here of late, which attracts the trolls!

Yeah I noticed it too recently, I just assumed it was censoring trolls.

I replied to a few by "Labour Stay Cool" and they have (thankfully) disappeared. I presume that is the cause.

I'm pretty unilateral about such things. LabourStayCool had tried to register anonymously with a fake email address before registering with a newly-made webmail account. Therefore I deemed they were up to no good and were actually an agent provocateur in our midst. Their account was deleted along with all their articles and comments.

I have recently deleted one single other comment which I thought went overboard with personal criticism on John Prescott - but I didn't thibnk the writer was malicious, just a little frustrated, so I didn't ban them.

We do like to stay withing the realms of comradeliness
