We were right, they were wrong

On the day of Nelson Mandela's 90th birthday, let us just remember some of the moral judgements of the Tories.

The United Nations declared apartheid as a "crime against humanity" but that didn't bother the Tories. While they condemned the ANC and its leaders as terrorists, Thatcher sat down with PW Botha at Chequers.

Times are tough right now, but we should never lose sight of why, in the end, we are on the side of progress and the Tory party needs to be beaten this time and every time.

So shaking hands with Robert Mugabe was alright then, the Tories lived in a different world mate they always do, but so does new labour.

Re: We were right, they were wrong (#2)

Does this also apply to Diane "I think Chairman Mao was good" Abbott? Or how about John "let's pay tribute to the IRA" McDonnell? Or indeed anyone in the not-so-New part of Labour who treats Fidel Castro as a hero?

Get a grip treborc.

Going to have to agree with NM.

I wish some people would give equal voice to the positive things the government does, as well as some negative things.
