We gained seats in St helens & Liverpool

We seemed to have bucked the trend in Merseyside by gaining two seats in St Helens and four in Liverpool.  The rest of the country is worrying, but we hope that there is a re-think on some more progessive policies.  Lets hope we can still win in London.

Re: We gained seats in St helens &... (#1)

In Norwich we lost two to the Tories but gained two from the Lib Dems, it's a little disappointing since we were hoping to take a third.

Re: We gained seats in St helens & Liverpool (#2)

We gained 4 in Oxford, halved the representation of the IWCA (Independent Working Class Association - some local nasties), and missed a further Lib Dem seat by just 4 votes. Not a bad campaign's work.

Re: We gained seats (#3)

What's nasty about the IWCA?

Re: We gained seats in St helens ... (#4)

Oi Oi Oi.

We actually won a council today, even if it's just one, we did win 1 (one).

Slough, welcome back.

So what now? (#5)

With Labour losing over 300 council seats (a result considered Unthinkable only yesterday) what needs to happen now?
