At last; now we know where Johnson is coming from.

Re: BNP call for vote for Boris Johnson (#3)

As much as I dislike Boris, it's not really fair to suggest that he must like the BNP because want to give him their 2nd prefs.

Didn't the SWP reluctantly call on their members to support Blair's New Labour in 1997? Would have been pathetic of the Tories to try to use that to bash Blair.

I don't think there is an equivalance between neo nazi's and the swp

Re: BNP call for vote for Boris Johnson (#2)

Don't forget Johnson's also going to get UKIP's second preferences - the BNP for those with half a brain cell!

Re: BNP call for vote for Boris Johnson (#4)

Of course, it isn't Boris Johnson's fault that the BNP want to give him their second preferences.

But nonetheless, it does say something about what kind of man he is if the BNP feel they can trust him in office over any other alternative candidate.

Re: BNP call for vote for Boris Johnson (#5)

Not really surprised. I'd imagine there's an not insignificant overlap between some of the Tory grassroots and BNP supporters in terms of their opinions on social issues.

Re: BNP call for vote for Boris Johnson (#6)

Wasn't that BNP assembly candidate who suggested women enjoyed rape a former Tory councillor?
