Young Scots Tory in master & slave row forced to quit Charles Kennedy's rector campaign

The young Scots Tory who dressed up as a slave at a fancy dress party and pretended to be flogged by a Tory friend dressed as a slave master is ditched from Charles Kennedy's bid to become rector of the University of Glasgow.



The Daily Record ran a story yesterday about how young Scots Tories David Harris and Jamie Johnston dressed up as master and slave at a fancy dress party.

The incident was widely condemned as racist and despicable and has now led to Jamie Johnston being ditched from Charles Kennedy's campaign to become rector of the University of Glasgow, as well as David Harris resigning from his post as Secretary of Conservative Future in Scotland.

I once went to a Halloween party dressed as 'communism.'  It was awesome.
