Re: Goodbye then (#1)

Yeh, she was pretty useless.

Re: Goodbye then (#2)

Nevertheless Ruth Kelly was a good sport. I don't think she really went out of her way to upset anybody.

Re: Goodbye then (#3)

I'm no great fan of Ruth Kelly,  The Roman Catholic Church,  or Opus Dei.   I don't think she will be missed and there are plenty of other MPs who could display the same lack of talent she did.

That said,  at least she stuck to her principles and it's attitudes like lgbt above that go a long way to maintaining and fostering anti-gay beliefs and have people asking why it's OK to have Gay Pride celebrations but a criminal offence to have Straight Pride ones,  why it's OK for gays to have sex in public toilets but a criminal offence for straight people to do likewise etc etc etc.  I fully support equality,  but it must apply to all in all areas,  not favour or disfavour any particular group.

Re: Goodbye then (#4)

have people asking why it's OK to have Gay Pride celebrations but a criminal offence to have Straight Pride ones

Are you really as utterly thick as you come across?

Apart from anything else, have you tried organising a Straight Pride march and been told it's an offence?

What a complete tit.
