Nobel Prizewinner endorses Brown's approach to the credit crisis

Paul Krugman is Professor of Economics at Princeton Univrsity and winner of the 2008 Nobel Prize for economics. Here he endorses Gordom Brown's approach to the financial crisis.

I know for the union has already made a post on this subject, but I wanted to draw everyone's attention to it again, because it is highly significant.

It isn't every day that a newly minted Nobel Prize-winner offers a ringing endorsement to Gordon Brown.

It's worth reading the whole article:

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/10/13/opinion/13krugman.html?_r=1&ref=opinion&oref=slogin

But this is the most important quote:

"the Brown government has shown itself willing to think clearly about the financial crisis, and act quickly on its conclusions. And this combination of clarity and decisiveness hasn’t been matched by any other Western government"

It's important that we get this message out to the electorate, so tell your friends, put it on your leaflets and direct mails etc. etc.!
