Derek Conway is surely guilty of behaviour that is incompatible with being an MP. Despite this David Cameron took just a few hours to decide what to do with Mr Conway - nothing.

Even the Daily Torygraph is putting the boot in with a "Tory Derek Conway paid £260,000 to family" headline - wife & 2 kids as empoyees since 2001. He has to be toast this afternoon - whip removed. I wonder how many other MPs are feeling very uneasy right now!

The fact that Cameron had to dither over this overnight shows what a weak leader he is.


Now Derek Conway should pay back every penny he stole from the taxpayer.
