Left Gain Strength in Unite NEC elections

I have decided to concentrate on union issues, and shock horror the left and centre left are doing well in the nomination stages of the elections,  if I was Amicus NW.  I would re-write his memoirs about the NW being a bastian of the right.  See for yourself

Re: Left Gain Strength in Unite NEC elections (#1)

The Gazzette has done well, although there are some areas where it didn't, West Midlands for instance.

Notice one of your opponents for Labour NEC Philomena Muggins is contesting this as well, although she didn't seem to get enough nominations. She must be a busy person, anybody know her (please let's not start the names thing again).

Re: Left Gain Strength in Unite NEC elections (#2)

This post is a prime example of why I assumed Wiseman was a comedy p*ss take rather than a real person.

It's totally ungrammatical. There are so many ways of interpreting what has been written I don't know where to begin.

It appears that the poster is attributing the success of left/gazzette candidates in internal Amicus-Unite elections to his own decision to concentrate on union issues. Of course, it is possible that the intervention of our hero Wiseman is the thing that tipped the balance, but I suspect other forces may have been at play.

Then there is the cryptic passage:

", if I were Amicus Northwest. I would re-write his memoirs about the north-west being a bastion of the right."

Who is this Amicus Northwest man? Has he published any memoirs? I thought Amicus Northwest was a region of a trade union, not a person who had written his memoirs........

It's all utter nonsense, and I found it hard to credit that a real person would allow their name to be associated with such drivel.

Re: Left Gain Strength in Unite NEC elections (#3)

Actually, some one has just emailed me to say that 'Amicus NW' is the identity of some one who posts on this site, in which case, part of Wiseman's original message makes a bit more sense. I still find the general tenor of the post faintly ridiculous.
