Jumping the gun in Nottingham South

As we wait patiently for Regional Office to allow us to begin the process of selecting our candidate to replace Alan Simpson, and wonder if Godot might turn up before that time, news reaches me of someone whose impatience has got the better of her.

I understand that at last night's CLP meeting it was discussed that one possible candidate, Lillian Greenwood, has managed somehow to obtain a membership list and has been calling on unsuspecting members to 'introduce herself.' Apparently, one member has complained to Regional Office but unless any candidate actually produces anything in writing there's nothing they they can do about it. I wonder if they would have adopted the same line had Christine Shawcroft used her position as CLP secretary to contact members?

"one possible candidate, Lillian Greenwood"

Googling I've found a Lillian Greenwood from Lambley, Notts...who is 100 year old..I suppose it's not the same Lillian though...

What's new.  Cllr Steve Reed's been doing the same in Streatham.  http://lambethlou.blogspot.com/2007/09/steves-letter-to-members.html
