Boris outlines his vision for London, Tube Strike

stToday Boris Johnson copied most of Ken's ideas and basically said the opposite of what he has been saying in his newspaper since Ken was elected outlined his vision for London.
And the RMT still hold a strike for no valid reason, UNITE do not.

What Boris did today was perhaps his biggest mistake ever (other than being a racist toff and many odd incidents) he now claims the congestion charge was a success and will not abolish it if elected. This may just give Ken the votes he needs, the congestion charge would have been the issue that would have got him the most right wing votes. I personally don't understand why someone with a seat in Oxfordshire, who has never been involved in London politics is standing for mayor.
Next, the RMT strike: WHAT THE HELL?? Why on earth are they holding a strike? Ken was on BBC London news with a signed agreement from the administrator and the head of Metronet saying there will be no loss of jobs, pensions or otherwise. It seems UNITE and the other Union who's name Iv'e forgotten won't take part in the strike, it will just be Crow and the RMT. I don't understand why but all I know is it will complicate my way to school and I may have to take the Silverlink(the worst looking trains in London, thank god Ken is creating the London overground soon), parhaps someone can explain why they are still striking?

Re: Tube Strike (#1)

I have no sympathy for the RMT or their case. Even some left-wingers are getting pissed off by this strike, I know I am, it's the most pointless strike that I can remember.

Re: Tube Strike (#2)

It is pointless, that's why Unite cancelled their strike. But then again so is Bob Crow.
