Ed Hussain is speaking at The Henry Jackson Society and Euston Manifesto joint event at this year's Labour Party Conference.
“Winning the Battle of Ideas Against Islamism and Terror”, will be a fringe event on Monday 24th September, at the Queen's Hotel, Meyrick Road, Bournemouth, BH1 3DL
The theme of the event is "Winning the Battle of Ideas Against Islamism and Terror" and it will explore the nature of Islamism, its connections with terror and what an appropriate progressive response should be.
The speaker panel features:
Ed Hussain, author of 'The Islamist' and self-described former 'extremist'
Shahid Malik MP - Minister of State, Department of International Development
Liam Byrne MP - Minister of State for Borders & Immigration
Prof. Alan Johnson - The Euston Manifesto and Editor of Democratiya.
The panel will be chaired by Alan Mendoza, Executive Director of the Henry Jackson Society.
A buffet and refreshments will be served.
