Stuart King selected for Putney

Stuart King was today selected to be Labour's candidate for Putney, comfortably beating Elisabeth Davies (who came second) and Floyd Millen (third) on the first ballot.

Well, actually John, in response to your initiated thread on current selections I wrote:

"A (distant) second in Putney is Elisabeth Davies...third, I suspect, will come Eleanor Tunnicliffe...Floyd Millen will in all likelihood be battling it out for last place with Mohammed Khaliel.

Eleanor was selected for Richmond Park last week so was out of the running which makes my prediction spot on...sorry!

But I'm glad Floyd didn't come last. As was remarked about the unsuccessful Wimbledon candidates, I'm sure both Elisabeth and Floyd will be standing for Labour at the general election elsewhere.
