May 3rd: Best of luck, everyone

This is just a quick message to wish everyone the best of luck with tomorrow. I'm sure many of us on here have been campaigning tirelessly over the past weeks, and hopefully at least some of that effort will pay off.

The predicted kicking that Labour will get is disheartening at best, but from my experience this is none of the fault of party activists who've been working as hard as ever to achieve the highest possible vote for Labour.

As a side note, an extra special 'good luck' to all those who are candidates tomorrow. I know that my hair is falling out trying to organise the campaign in my ward in Stratford-upon-Avon, and it's not even a winnable seat! So once again, best of luck, and here's to a successful Thursday.

Indeed. Best of luck to all Labour candidates.

Re: May 3rd: Best of luck, everyone (#5)

Fingers crossed everyone! Let's get that message out - don't punish local Labour candidates for Westminster politics!

Re: May 3rd: Best of luck, everyone (#6)

WOO-HOO...I'm on the Parish Counicill. District here I come!!

Re: May 3rd: Best of luck, everyone (#7)

Thanks for the wishes, and I wish everyone the best of luck as well.

This is a strong party, and no matter whether you are leftwing or centrist, we all work together to get eachother elected- I would be happy to help get John McDonnell elected, and I am sure he would be happy to help Tony Blair to get elected- we are that sort of Party.

I hope the Comrades in Brighton, Canterbury, Thurrock, Slough, Medway, Dartford, Thanet, and Dover, all places I have been to will be returned and we can take the useless tory councils in Medway, Dartford, Thurrock, Thanet, Dover, Canterbury and take overall control in Brighton. Of course, i hope we do well elsewhere in Britain.

Re: May 3rd: Best of luck, everyone (#8)

I feel bad as I haven't been able to do as much campaigning as I'd like (busy with work and studies at the moment), but I wish all Labour comrades the best of luck tomorrow. Things may be tough at the moment, and we may all disagree about what direction the party needs to go in, but we need to keep the faith.

UNITY IS STRENGTH
