Cruddas Calls the Cops

I was really pleased to see that yesterday Labour's Jon Cruddas has called on the police to investigate the fascist BNP for criminal behaviour.  Cruddas has provided them with a twenty page dossier detailing illegal acts by the BNP leadership.  Speaking in the Commons yesterday Jon slammed the BNP for their criminal behaviour.

Cruddas said “What is being uncovered in the internal workings of the British National Party appears to be systemic criminality in terms of data protection, bugging, theft, money laundering and the operation of the Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act 2000."

"This is not the behaviour of a legitimate political party and I very much hope to see the police and the Electoral Commission investigate these charges. The fact that this is being orchestrated by the leader of a political party is most shocking. The BNP leadership and Nick Griffin in particular are showing us their true colours.”

This is all going to add to the recent woes of the BNP which have been published this week.  Recent reports have shown them to split each and every way.  Good.

Now of course the BNP are guilty of far worse crimes than spying on their own with apartheid police officers.  But just as Al Capone was done for tax avoidance, if Cruddas and Searchlight can nab them on this internal stuff he'll be doing communities like mine a huge favour.
