Dora Dixon-Fyle and Marie Pye have been put forward as the nominations for W. Walthamstow.

Were they the only people nominated? Isn't there more than one ward in W. Walthamstow?

No, there were five candidates on the final ballot for Higham Hill ward.  As I wasn't present at the meetings of the other two wards, I can't comment on their selection.

She's guaranteed a place on the shortlist. I suspect, however, that some of these votes were very close. And, of course, Laura Bruni is streets ahead in terms of union nominations.

I did make a mistake sorry. Farmida only got one nomination, it was Dora who got the BAME nomination in Higham Hill not Farmida Bi. My apologies for the error.
